Meguiar's D114 Rinsefree Express Wash Is Discontinued

Any guess to why, it was a popular RW. VOC compliance perhaps?

Where is this info coming from?

I posted the link from MOL in my original post. I quoted the guy in case they change it...

Better yet, I took a snapshot:

Here is some more information on rinse-less techniques:

It should be noted that our D114 Rinse Free X-Press Wash is currently discontinued, and it appears limited stock is available through on-line retailers.

Ha ha, I guess we will find out. Of course Meguiar's has a history of discontinuing products that are a hit with "our" crowd but not so much elsewhere, like #38 and #16 (although #38 made a comeback). Seems like there was another one they killed off but I can't think of it, oh wasn't it an engine detail product? I think that was even before my (forum) time.

EDIT: D114 shows up in the Meguiar's Direct store as in stock and available to order, D115 is not in stock but available for back order to ship within 10 days...perhaps the gentleman on the Meguiar's forum got confused between the two and also what the ultimate status of D115 is?

Yow! Another one bites the dust. I hope I don't like it when I get back to using my sample bottle, I hate liking stuff I can't get anymore.

is there anything special about this product? there are so many other great options/choices out these days, right?

No offense to the D114 crowd, but I highly recommend WGURW. Having tried both, I personally think WGURW wins hands down.

I'm stocking up, RFEW is my favorite rinseless wash and was priced right.

I use D114 on every new customer's vehicle. In my experience it is better performing than similar products. For maintenance care Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash and D115 work well, but the "leave nothing left on the surface" feature of D114 makes it perfect for vehicles that haven't been treated yet. In addition, the dilution ratio of D114 beats every other product hands down.

There is nothing that come close, in my opinion, to the cost effectiveness and performance of D114. I use it on the paintwork, wheels, wheel wells, sidewalls, glass, engine bay components, and everything else that reacts well.

Come again? Let's compare to ONR, which is kind of the baseline rinseless wash. Price per gallon is the same. Dilution...ONR 1 oz/2 gallons....D114 (from memory) dirty cars 2 oz/2 gallons, or for not so dirty cars, 1 oz/2 gallons.

So same price, same dilution as ONR...how does that beat "every other product hands down"?

Although I'm a WGU guy and agree with Kevin, this D114 is really an impressive product without a doubt and gives a user piece of mind if they don't want anything left behind but a clean car, no wax in this product and for some, this is a must. I might have to get a gallon, I have a problem because there's something about having a product that is NO MORE, i.e. I have to bottles of TW rinseless wash for example.
