Getting low on my last gallon of Meguiar's D170 & noticed the price had increased about $20 from the last time I purchased it. Curious if there are any cheaper alternatives for a water based dressing. I prefer the thin consistency since I have all terrain tires with thick side lugs & raised lettering (I apply with a Carrand tire dressing brush). Since I have a truck I also like to mist the wheel wells & suspension for that extra pop.

I think raw silicone is in very short supply recently. Which means prices for these materials has skyrocketed. Hyper Dressing and Dynamic Dressing have been on nationwide back order for months now. CarPro Perl is probably your best bet as an available concentrated substitute, but for off road tires I personally like using aerosol products. While not as cost effective, the results are always perfect. My favorite is Griot's Black Satin Tire Coating.

X2 on the Griots Black Satin Coating.....I live in southern NJ....if you're close to me, I'll give you the Hyper Dressing that I have left.....around 2/3 gallon
