Quick question, the Meijer store near me has the DA power pack pads on sale. Are these the same quality as the soft buff spot pads they offer, they look the same. Thanks

Anyone know? Might be worth it to just go get them as I could use them on a job tomorrow.

Same. Great pads as well.
They do work with 3" plates better, not designed for 3.5" (they are beveled and velcro side is smaller than the face of the pad).
3.5" plate may work, sure, but adding pressure may tear the pad on it's borders from contact with backing plate.
I like the yellow a lot, but the burgundy (cutting one) is veeery aggressive. Use with caution, examine surface for heat build up, and do not let it steady for long... Don't need to ask why I know burgundy pad may cause damage, do you? ahhahaha
