Which pads would you recommend using with Meguiars M105/205? I have some light hazing and swirl marks I'm trying to get out of a 2000 BMW and 2005 GTO.

What pads do you have? The only way to tell what combo you need is doing a test spot. I can't say enough! Every paint correction job I do a test spot. Its key to getting the job done right and it save a lot of time.

The Junkman SWEARS by using Hex Logic pads, so I ordered myself a set of White and Orange pads and tried them out this weekend using the same combo of polish and cutting compound that you have. WORKED GREAT!! Although I am using the PC 7424XP DA polisher. Got out some scratches that had been bugging me for months!! And I'm new to polishing/buffing, followed the junkman's methods and worked awesome. Hex Logic pads can be found at Chemical Guys website, along with TONS of other detailing supplies. Good luck! :xyxthumbs:

:iagree:

The test spot is very very important. Dial in your process on the test spot and save your self the aggravation of doing the entire car the wrong way.

Awesome. Thanks fellas, as soon as the compounds come in I'll post some pix to see how I do.

Are you talking about the drill attachments da power system? If so you'll need 4" soft buff pads by Meg's. they fit perfect. The backing plate on the daps is around 3" way to small for 5" plus pads.

Yes I was talking about the drill attachment. I have the compound, polishing, and waxing pads already
