Oh man, NOT ANOTHER PAD QUESTION!!

I've used only LC pads for both the Flex DA and the PC 7424 and have had great results, esp with Menzerna products.

I'd like to use the 9227 for more than headlight restoration and small areas of paint correction. So far I have only used LC 3" pads with Megs 105/205 and I want to try the larger 7 or 8 inch (both foam and wool pads.)

My question is there an advantage using the flat-surface Meguiar's foam pad vs tilting the rotary and using a LC beveled CCS pad?

I'd appreciate any input

I do not like the CCS pads at all. Polish tends to dry up in the holes and do not see any benefit to using them on my FLEX rotary. I would strongly recommend you have a look at the Kompressor pads for the rotary. After using them, they are the only pads I will use.

If you are not interested in the Kompressor pads and need to pick something between the flat meguiars and the curved ccs, I would go with the flat pads. I just do not like the feel of the curved ccs.

Thanks for the advice.

How do you like the Flex rotary?
