Meguiars Gold Class Carnaub over Mequiars NXT

Decided to go for the Carnauba over the sealant... Looks pretty good IMNSHO!

Looks good. The carnaubu brings out a nice warm glow in the finish. Any sun shots?

That's the combo I used prior to Meg's Ultimate coming out.NXT as a synthetic base coat with Gold class to top.I found it descently durable.Now I'll only use the rest of my NXT on other people's cars and save the Ultimate for mine.For me the Ultimate replaces the NXT as my synthetic/sealant option.These are all great waxes for the cost,considering how much you get in a can and how well they work.

That looks really wet.

When you say, "Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba wax over Meguiar's NXT," are you referring to applying one paste wax over another, one spray wax over another, or one spray and one paste?

Or are you saying you simply prefer one product to (or "over") the other?

Sometimes my literal-mindedness makes me a doofus, so I apologize for needing clarification.

Jaddie: Pickles had the right of it!

Pickles: I have used NXT for about a year or so now and did not pay attention to the Ultimate. It has great durability, I may have to try Ultimate now. Hows the wear on that? I use my Camaro as a daily driver and get compliments on how "shiny" it is. The NXT is so easy to apply!

I actually used a buffer for the first time to spread teh Carnauba wax evenly for the first time. It did well so I guess I will be using that now as well!

Thanks for the compliments all. It just feeds my obsession with my Camaro and its appearance more My wife I am sure will thank you all! She wants to know if she or the car are number one.. I find it difficult to answer!

Try Megs ultimate Quik wax as a booster after car washes.

Still fairly new to this so I want to be sure I get this correct before I try it on my wife's H3.

Meguire's Ultimate as the base and then Meguire's Gold Class Carnuba over that.

Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax is great stuff....Meguiars recommends 2 coats of Ultimate and maintenance with Ultimate Quick Detailer and Ultimate Quick Wax when needed...no NXT in the mix or Gold Class Nuba

Pfft what do those guys at Meguiars know I like the look of the synthetic and its hard enough to remain in case I dont have time to dedicate to the waxing. I do like the Gold Class look, I will get some of the ultimate to try.
