Has anyone tried it? Is there something better for headlights that is around the same price?

I've used this 3M kit with great results. It easy to use and only $20.00. (Plus there is a $3.00 mail in rebate now) making the total cost $17.00. Plut it comes with a 3" backing plate and foam polishing pad for your drill, both can be reused...

I have used the 3M kit as well. Very nice setup. I just wish they included more of the flexible sanding disc so more lights could be corrected with the purchase of only one kit.

How many headlights can I do with that kit? The polish that comes with the kit is only 1 oz. is there another kit that comes with more polish or can I buy more of the same polish?

The kit includes a little bottle of PlastX, but you can really up the effectiveness using other compounds with the drill mounted buffer. For me, the attraction is that little buffer tool. Also, in addition to the $3 rebate, Meguiars is also offering a $10 Meguiar’s® 2010 Car Care Month Rebate Offer if you buy the Headlight Restoration kit with another Meguiars product, such as Megs Ultimate Compound.

I'm not sure what happened to my original pics. but these are the results I got with the 3M kit. Get some plastic polish to supplement with. I got Meguiars plastic polish for around $7-8 bucks at Walmart. I was able to do 2 sets of headlights w/ the consumables, but like I said you get a 3" backing plate for a drill and a orange foam polishing pad...
