I've always been a Megs user but the last year or more have broadened the brands. There are sooo many nowadays it's crazy but amazing.
So this summer switched out from using Ultimate Wax with Quik Wax and Detailer and Fast Finish to their ceramic line, M27 with M799. Just looking I kinda guess (possibly wrong) M27 goes head to head against Jescar Ultra Lock. Both priced similar, both have similar backbones. My question are they pretty equal or is Jescar head and shoulders better. I'm about half down the M27 and with Black Friday sales wondering which to add to the shopping cart. I have the gallon of M799 but figure it will play nice either way.
Who has used both and any differences noticed? Not too worried about the protect aspect of either as I usually top with something every wash to two (eg M799 straight or diluted), more curious in looks I suppose.

Thank you fellas!!!

If M27 is working for you then keep using it. You may end up having to pick up Jescar and trying it out to see if you do like it.

You can get ultra lock + in an 8oz bottle if you just want to try it.

Thanks for the replys!!
I guess being so similar they would play well together too, so it would be an easy swap back and forth if I wanted to get the small bottle of Jescar.

My GLI currently has two coats of Jescar Ultra Lock+ on it and looks great. Just gave it it's first wash since application(mid-October) on Saturday and just after the pre-wash with Carpro Lift it looked great and the beading came right back to like new. Vehicle was covered in salt and deicer since winter visited this past week. Overall I think the vehicle cleaned off much better than it does when I am using Reload w/ Elixir. Gloss is nice and crisp as well even though my vehicle is overdue for a polish. I imagine it will look even better with proper preparation. I got the 8oz. bottle and after two coats there is easily 2/3 of the bottle left. I found a microfiber applicator is the way to go, not foam. Removes super easy. Pleasant to use.

Thank you sir! I am thinking both of these and even Wolfgang si02 sealant are all pretty interchangeable..?? may try to get my hands on smallest bottles and try as suggested above, play around a bit with the adventures of si02 sealants, lol

Yup, you have "The Sickness".

You'll have 10+ bottles of similar products in no time............Im the MAN

I have the Jescar Ultra Lock (the newer one with sio2), and M21, not M27.

Of the two I prefer the M21.

Never tried Ultra Lock....but have used WG Sio2 on multiple vehicles......stupid easy application, very durable, very slick....I'd suggest adding this one to your test group
