Meguiars Metal Finishing Polish?

I'm thinking about buying some of this for the 1st time and I'd like to hear from anyone who's tried it.

My questions are:
What do You use it on?
Is there a noticeable difference between using this compared to other metal polishes i.e. Meguiars Medium Metal Polish?
How safe is this on plastic chrome trim pieces/grills?

How similar is it to the Mothers Billet Polish? 1 would tend to assume that they'd be sort of on par to each other simply based on the history of the way certain companies release competing products... But I read in 1 of the descriptions of the Mothers Billet that it's not recommended for chrome? [Meguiars Metal Finishing Polish is fine on chrome] If that's the case then there must be a definitive difference between the 2, besides the obvious.
