meguiars quik interior detailer discontinued?

im talking about the gallon, meguiars d-line quik interior detailer. is it discontinued?

what other quik interior detailers are comparable?

i need something cheap-ish for my express interior package. ive actually used the turtlewax ice total interior spray with REALLY good results, you just have to work it in. left a nice little shine too, i might pick up a few bottles if i cant find something comparable in price online.
 
All the page on AG.net says is "on temporary backorder" -- I don't think that necessarily means it's discontinued.
 
Yeah, I mean this stuff just came out in what, January?

EDIT: Sheesh, it seems like nobody has this in stock.
 
i actually tried getting it from another place, since it was "in stock," but later they told me its discontinued:/ kinda disappointed, im not aware of another quick interior detailer thats $20 a gallon
 
Yeah, I have been wanting to try this stuff but it's impossible to find any. There's gotta be something going on. Did the actual product manufacturers who mix the chemicals go on strike or something? What's the deal?

Just the gallon size? Or the OTC product as well?

I'm going to be REALLY disappointed if QID has been discontinued completely. I use a ton of it!
 
seriously this stuff is the closest thing to 1z cockpit that I have found for a reasonable price! I have gotten 3 OTC bottles now and am hoping to start buying it buy the gallon!
 
I should know this by now, but what is the different to Quik Interior Detailer & 1Z Cockpit Premimum and APC+? I guess it isn't just a cleaner?

Megs QID and 1Z Cockpit are cleaner/protect products... APC+ is just a Cleaner with low foaming ability.

I am not sure the durability of 1z cockpit... but i have heard its not stellar... I was hoping QID was more durable and cheaper alternative.

I do know 1z cockpit is proven safe for the clear plastics in aroudn the dash... not sure about QID
 
I'm about to the point of agreeing with you. It seems like they're having an ever increasing problem getting products out the door and keeping their distributors/retailers stocked.

Used to be the Meguiar's name stood for uncompromising quality and reliability -- the best the industry had to offer. I'm starting to lose faith in that lately, but I still keep giving them chances because the products of theirs I have and use have still for the most part been excellent.

What don't you like about Meguir's? I think some products in their detailing line are cheap and good such as the Glass Cleaner and APC+

the gallon size of qid from their d-line:P the OTC is still available, but im kinda ticked off that even with my friends employee discount at an auto parts store it still comes out to about $50 a gallon (8 X 16oz bottles):/

i am clueless as to why they discontinued it, it was exactly what i was looking for. theres really NOTHING that compares to it, price wise.
