Oh yeah!

I just did my mom's car a couple weeks ago with M86 and M21.

I used it with a Flex 3401, on green Buff and Shine pads. Worked great. Cleared up the swirls, and finished to a high gloss.

I used four drops of M86, spread out at speed 1, and did four passes with light pressure. I reloaded with just two drops for following buffing sequences.

I did try it on a Subaru a back in 2014, on blue Buff and Shine pads, on my 7424xp, and it left a bit of a haze. It could have been my approach though. I was probably at speed 5, where today I'd be at 3 or 4. That day I ended up using Menzerna PF2500.

I see myself using more M86 in the future. I have three jobs lined up where M86 will probably on tap to get that job done.

I've used it with rotary and DA and with MF on DA - always seem to work well on the paint systems I worked on.

I thought this was discontinued? Guess I'm wrong. This product has a unique history. It was designed to go after a product and concept first introduced by I can't think of the guys name right now but it was a one liquid system for primarily body shops. The idea being you change the pad to alter the cut. This would have been a product introduced at least 15 to 20 years ago. I think it was also discontinued.

The bigger picture was to only have ONE liquid for a technician to have to use to both cut and polish thus avoiding any confusion and also any training.

:)

It is on the Megs website but it may have been discontinued,I guess I'll find out when I try to order some

Wow about the mirror bright line. Didn’t that just come out like last year?

I have decided against the M86 because after some research I realized it's a rotary only product and I was looking looking for some geared more specific for orbitals and a one step.
I have a one step product on the shelf thats a private labeling of Buff & Bling or maybe they are all private labels of another product.
it works ok but it's not the miracle cure all product my employer thinks it is although it's my go to for most silver, white, tan,,etc etc.

whats a good orbital only product? seeing I am ordering this myself I would prefer something mid to low price.

I do like Ultimate Compound but it's only available in small containers and I was leaning towards trying M105 as I already have the 205 and they are available in qts.

This gets pretty confusing at times because I want to try everything, with every polisher and every pad,,lol

I don't know if the whole line was discontinued but AGO only sells the rubber cleaner

Meguiars Mirror Bright Collection

Not to start a war, but where did you hear about MB line being discontinued?

Bill

Totally read that wrong on MOL.

Mirror Bright is in fact still being produced.
