Meguiar's Super Degreaser D108, is it safe on aluminum

I just need some advise/help.
I just bought D108 and plan to degrease my 1965 vette engine. I have been trying to verify, but I have been told it will stain the aluminum valve covers. Can anyone help me understand if this safe at 10:1 to use on aluminum, or should I try something different?
I see on the forms where people use it to successfully clean tires. If the above is true, what if it gets on your polished aluminum wheels?

Personally I wouldn't dare to try it.Amazing roll off is what you need,very effective and safe for just about anything especially aluminum.

OPC is also safe if I remember right.
