I just bought this product and can't wait to try it. But one question should it be applied before or after the wax?

:buffing:

Polishes remove oxidation and minor surface defects. These products bring back that new glossy look then should be protected using sealants and waxes...

I also purchased this one,but haven't had chance to use it,yeah you used that after claying and before wax/sealant.:xyxthumbs:

I just used this product, and using the polish first and then waxing really brought out the shine. Great product.

It should be used Prior to waxing the car. Unfortunately, it didn't take out all the swirl marks on one of my cars so I used Turtle Wax Polishing Compund, a little more abrasive, and it took it right out.

I still like the Meguiars Polish since it's safer.

Because a polish is not the same as a compound... That's why, for your needs, the polish didn't work but the compound did.

Compound, polish, protect....lather, rinse, repeat..........

Have not tried Ultimate Polish but let me also recommend: M105 for serious defects, Ultimate Compound for defects of a somewhat lesser nature and probably the first product I would try with an appropriate pad to see if it can get the job done (LC tangerine hydrotech) and finish this phase of the process with M205 to clean up the prior steps. These are the "wheel house" products in the Meguiars World imo. I've tried many different polishes & compounds and most cost more $, but in the end I'm sticking with the Meguiars-hard to go wrong with the three above mentioned products.

I can't seem to find the Megs 105 at any of the stores. Only online. Is the 205 more aggressive?

If you have a Pep Boys or NAPA auto stores near you, they carry the M105 and M205. I usually purchase mine from Pep Boys.

In order of aggressiveness, M105, UC then M205. M205 is more of a polish whereas M105 is more of a compound. AG obviously sell as the goodies and if you call around, I'm pretty sure you'll track down all three products.

I actually stated my post incorrectly. I did use the Ultimate Polish and it did remove the light scratches on the hood and quarter panels.

My bad.

None yet...I am starting my own detailing business soon and I'm trying to get all of my products lined up for ordering right now
