Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer - isopropyl alcohol?

Picked up a bottle of this and noticed it said "Contains Isopropyl alcohol"
Doesnt that strip wax? Probably the concentration is very low but thought I'd ask anyway...
 
Per the MSDS, it's between 1-5% IPA per weight...My guess is that small amount would not have an adverse effect on the wax.

(Of course, it could also be a ploy be to strip a little wax each time you use it, so you'll have to wax more often)
 
Detailers clean they don't lay down a coating of wax. IPA is a great cleaner so makes sense. 5% wll not remoove much of anything , but I'll give Meg's credit for acknowleging it. If it works to your satifaction keep using it, if not try a different detailer.
 
I pretty sure they are required to disclose it. IPA is considered a health hazard (Level 1, I believe - but don't quote me.) - The label is required to list it as an ingredient.
