I have never done a Waterless wash. I was always skeptical of the safety of the paint with them. Well last weekend I took a short trip to visit family and got home around 9pm. The trip was 4 hours each way, so needless to say I was a little wore out. The car was plastered with bugs and there was no way I was going to let them sit there. I went to the local Auto parts store for some washer fluid and saw this product. I figured I would give it a whirl after running the car through the touchless. I planed on using this as a drying aid for the drips left behind.

Before going through the touchless I sprayed the front end down GG Bug remover, let dwell, then pressure rinsed the whole car. I proceeded to go through the touchless and pulled into a bay. I grabbed my MF towels and started to spray the product. The initial wipe was silky smooth, but what reall caught my attention was the Buff off. The towel almost slid out of my hand the surface was so slick. So I decided my next wash would be waterless with this product.

Pros:
Extremely easy to use
Does not streak even in full sun, just work smaller sections
Pleasant Pina Colada scent
Excellent cleaner even on road gime
Leaves paint slick and glossy

Cons:
Price - at $12 a bottle it is a rather expensive car wash ($3-$4 a wash)


Conclusion:

This product(or if a Bulk version is available) is a must for traveling. It did not harm the paint whatsoever. It was a pleasure to use. I am curious if the D115 is the same product in bulk form if I can get a confirmation on this I will be buying some ASAP!

I will also like to find the Mothers new one locally to compare.

Looks like D115 will be ordered and maybe some D114.
 
This is certainly good stuff. I will add that the protection works pretty good as well. I used it as a test presoak on road salt last winter on one spot of my door. The leading edge of my door stayed consistently cleaner throughout the winter.

That's how those water-fearing (Hydrophobic) polymers...
that's added to its formulation...are intended to perform!

I have a similar feeling.

With this and mothers waterless tire cleaner, I might not bring buckets when I take trips.
 
I use D115 a lot and it is damn near bulletproof. I also love D114, especially on coated vehicles. FWIW, I use D115 at 1:10 and I find that it cleans just as good at 1:4.
 
D115 is worth every penny. Its that good and works great at 1:10.

That makes it around $6/gallon which is pretty good actually. I'm definitely buying some when I run out of Opti-Clean.
