Anyone tried this product yet? I just ordered a bottle and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on it.

It's a great product. You will like it. M135, which is the same as ultimate quik detailer and D156, which is the same as ultimate quik wax work great with it.

i buy m135 by the gallon, works great but i feel like it almost attracts dust a little more than other products, but otherwise a great slick feeling

My only advice use let it dry twice as long as they say! But I really like it!

This is how M21 looks like on a polished panel..

No long term opinion yet, but I used it a few days ago and like it a lot so far.

M21 2.0 isn't a new product, it's been out there for years now. It is by far my most used WOWO sealant. I have a new ½ gallon in the shop plus a couple smaller bottles.

It is a GREAT sealant with plenty of shine and durability to match.

I'll also Polycharge it for insane durability! Just that once you add the Polycharger you have 24 hours to use it. (Well they say up to 48 but I like to get it on ASAP.)

You can also top it with the liquid spray waxes (they are more polymer sealants than 'waxes'). And if you are going for some truly deep "pop", let it cure for at least 12 hours (60 degrees or above) and top it with M26liquid yellow wax. You will be blown away how deep, wet, and rich the paint looks. :D

That's one of Meg's products I never tried.
How does it compare to WGGPS ?
I see it and it's much cheaper.

Hey Kevin send me your addy and I'll send you a sample of it to see how you like it. I could Polycharge it but by the time you get it, it would probably already be gelling up in the bottle. ( if not gelled up completely!) It literally only takes about a half a dropper of Polycharger in a couple of ounces.

It's very close to NXT in looks. :)

I have and use both M21 and M20, great products.

M20 is the weapon, that cleaner sealant that strips the old LSP and really cleans up the paint, and it lasts, great one step just to clean them up a little and put down great long lasting protection. :xyxthumbs:

You can top M20 with M21 also.

Maintain with D135 and D156. :xyxthumbs:

But yeah M21 is an awesome product, one you really have to try. :)

Bingo! Thanks Guz. :dblthumb2:

To answer the original question. Polycharger basically is something that is supposed to change the way that products bond to the paint. Moreover making that bond stronger which in turn affects durability.

Back in 08, 09, 2010 there was a ton of talk about Polycharging products, and what MAY have it, as well as what was GOING TO have it. Then once products started coming out WITH it built in, shortly afterwards it was sold as a stand alone product.

As products that did NOT have the technology started coming 'on board' (as it may be) and using the new Polycharger technology they used nomenclature such as "2.0" changing to "3.0" or "new" etc. Around that time the prices shot up, as well as the reviewers opinions of said products. To date, products that have the technology are the most sought after (generally) and sell for more than those without. (Not to say that everything either has and/or needs it, much less benefits from it.)

There is also a difference between water based and solvent based which was a big factor back then on what products actually had this new wonder product included in their formula.

Basically, water based you can add it with indefinite shelf life. Solvent based (if you are doing it yourself) has a short, very short (like 48 hour) shelf life.

Now days numerous products have included the technology and we are paying for that inclusion! ;) Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax is one that used to not have it, yet now it does. Others like Ultima UTTG+ and UPGP+ are some that have come along since it was 'discovered'.

I played around with it long ago but ended up and bought a full kit last year and have been playing around with adding it to even more products I use. From my purely non-scientific exploration I much prefer to HAVE it than to NOT. :props:

FWIW a partial list of those products have been DG951, Megs 156, Griot's One-Step Sealant, Megs M20, Megs M21 2.0, Megs ULW, Megs M26, Megs M34 are some right off the bat.

It may have an effect on streaking with some spray (water based) products especially if it's mixed too strong. Also on liquid wax or sealants that are solvent based and also WOWO type it (in my experience) adds both gloss and durability. (Although it seems to generally make a difference in how quickly it hazes, as in much quicker.)

It's fun to play around with, although with some products these days running $25 an ounce (and likely are already Polycharged) those will NEVER be candidates!

For instance, there was a time when BFWD was not Polycharged. It did however end up that way. In an old thread concerning addition of Polycharger to BFWD a reply back in 2010 went as follows:

"Emile, keep adding the Polycharger to your BF-320. When we added Polycharger to our products, it made a major difference in durability. The ratio that was added varies in all of the products, and while the differences are smaller, you can improve on them with the addition of more Polycharger. You should stick with the amount recommended however. I hope this helps.

From the above reply I'd say adding it to both BFWD and WGDG Liquid Seal will reap even better results. (And I have bottles of both!) :D
