Starting up a mobile detailing business is no easy feat. It takes a lot of time and effort to ensure what you do is professional work. Having to do a lot of research while running my business got me thinking...How would people react to a Detailing Membership Program.

Just off the top of my head.

  • Customer signs up for $45/ month
  • Receives 10% off on all services
  • Receives 1 free maintenance cleaning service each month.

What are your thoughts on something along these lines?

I really think a Membership for Detailing should be With a bundle of washes paid on the same day...
I think Making A membership like Costco... Isn't easy...

I will be making something like Buy a membership 10 Washes, Get 2 Free
Buy 6 Washes get 1 Free...
Something like that... Plus the buyer could split he's membership up to 2 or 3 cars...

This way you Get paid in advance... you won't need to do anything.

( Could be for washes, Could be for wax treatments or Monthly maintenance... )

I like the idea sasson has better. Some type of punch card. maybe every 10th one free. If they have the punch card they will always have your name and number. Don't ask the customer to prepay anything earn their business. A punch card is a good incentive for them.

I have a punch card I use. It is buy 5 of any service, get a basic wash for free. They seem really excited about it. Just started it this year so we will see how it produces. I call it a loyalty program. I think I am going to expand it to referrals also.

That's a lot better idea than what I had brewing up. Paying for a bundle of washes or other type of service would probably make a better impression on the customer too.

True, i started off having a punch card on the back of my business cards, but i had to go with different company that doesn't offer it but has much better quality and designs.
But I imagine I will consider going back to the punch card idea, but in a different kind of way like sasson explained.

Absolutely !..Right now i have a Customer Rewards Program stating that when they give the card to a friend they sign their name and after five they get a free maintenance wash. So it's a little similar to what you got, I'm just trying more ways to make money.

I absolutely love detailing it's always been a passion of mine. Its just that in business especially where I live, its tough to make a full time living doing this.
