Does anyone use this?and what is your opinion compared to Wolfgang Spray Sealant?Feed back please

I have and use the Menzerna HG Acrylic Shield. I think it is a good product. As with all products ,prep is the most important factor. I like the slickness you get. I have not compared it to any other spray sealant.

I used it over Klasse twins for a while. It worked well and improved the wetness compared to Klasse by itself. It's very easy to use, too.

It seems like most products out there now are quite good.

It should be noted this product is not made by Menzerna, the name was licensed in the US to a vendor to design some products to try and compliment their line of polishes from Germany.

Thank you for the info,I guess that's like the Zymol Cleaner Wax that Turtle Wax sells. But I'm still curious, whether I should try it

If you are looking for a spray with some protection, I might highly suggest Four Star Spray Wax, Souveran Spray Wax, Optimum Spray Wax, Wolfgang Spray Sealant, and even Duragloss Aquawax. All look better, dont streak, and really easy to use.

Duragloss Aquawax is absolutely awesome... It was so easy that I felt as if I was using a quick detailer. Souveran spray wax is equally easy to use but it loses out to Duragloss in terms of durability.

OK,
So it's not the real manufactor? Is the product any good? Or just like some of the cheaper otc products?

The name on the bottle never mattered much to me. HGAS is made my CMA and sold by CMA (among a few other vendors). It's a good product. It's not atypical to see negative responses on a product on this board just because its not sold by AG.

It is acrylic based (like Werkstatt and Klasse) and I found it to streak in heat and humidity. I preferred the Sonus Acrylic Spray better over the Klasse Twins. I dont know if you can even find it any longer. Einszett Spray Wax (believe it was originally called LackFinish) is nice too.

Once moving to products like FK425 and FK146 (crisp, reflective) and Optimums Quick Detailer you'll save some $$ and have a nice product IMO.

If you would like to try something outside of AG ... look to Zaino Z6, Zaino Z8, Clearkotes Quikshine amongst other rock solid offerings. So many nice qder+, detail sprays, and quick wax/sealants to choose from.

:xyxthumbs:Currently I do use Crystal Mist,Souveran Spray Wax and Wolfgang Spray Sealant, however I'm just trying to get rid of the itch before I invest in the gallon size,so I just tried FK 425 although I don't have any problems and am pleased using the above ,just trying to save some $$ if I can. Some things you just gotta get out your system.lol Why did I catch this addiction?:nomore:

Hey, there.... as I get back into the detailing swing, I'm looking up my old favs and I notice that HGAS is no longer available, or at least not under the Menz HGAS label.

Does anyone have any definitive answer to whether it is still available anywhere, even if under a different name?

Thanks for your help!

jay

Killr...thanks for the suggest, however, I'm really interested in knowing whether this product is still available or not. I realize this is AG's acrylic offering, but before trying (spending $) a new product I'd really like to get resolution on the HGAS availability.

A couple years ago I also used Z8 and found it was most excellent also. I recall that HGAS and Z8 were great on top of WG HG.

Thanks!

jay, as was already stated,

This product is not an actual Menzerna product and was "kind" of exclusive to one retailer. That specific retailer is a direct competitor to Autogeek. Which is why you are not likely finding any answers from the AG staff. Also, this is an older product that is kind of out of the current flavor of the month product club, which is probably another reason your not getting so many response's.

I would suggest your google search the product and you will likely find it still available from some retailers. (google search yields faster results than waiting for response's anyway)

Yes, the replacement product is the one that you were linked too from above (Sonus).

I believe the product you are looking for is now sold under the Einmann Fabrick line.
