Which one can deliver maximum result out of your paint? I have Megs 105 and 205 for paint correction, just want to add another step (if that's any useful) to jewel the paint into high gloss, which one between the Menz 85RE5 vs 85RD vs Megs #80 can add that wow factor? Any experience?

Thanks

85RD. no other questions asked. Haha. Seriously po85rd is a great finishing polish, on dark color cars you are going to be amazed
Of the results. I used it on a silver metallic car and it made the metallics in the paint really pop! Go with 85rd, you wont regret it!

You forgot another very popular one, 3M Ultrafina SE.

I personally have Ultrafina, 85RD and M80 all on hand, but I don't typically consider M80 in the same category as the other two for a "jeweling" polish.

Never have tried 85RE5....

Ultrafina has never given me the results po85rd has. 3m just dosent seem to get along with me.

Now here's the kicker. I was all set to get me the 85RD til i read this post: *sorry for the outside link, if not allowed I'll remove it asap*

Also through several reference i got the idea that 85RD is cut 1 and 8rRE5 is cut 1.5, gloss are both 5 (scale 1.0 - 5.0). I have 85RE5 already, just wondering if it's worthwhile to add 85RD into my arsenal. Just an idea, would 85RE5 on a finishing pad delivers the same result as 85RD?

Same results with either one. I have all the polishes mentioned and have used them all. RE5 and 85RD are two of the best if bot the best finishing polishes available.

Ok, someone from different forum might already gave me the answer here.

85RD Finish Polish (US version)=85RE5 Final Finish (UK Version). All these labeling just confused me, i was quick reading the AG site when i saw both 85RD and final finish are available, forgot to continue reading that the Final Finish in AG is 85U, not 85RE5, which has higher cutting grade (2.5). Thanks guys, i'll just stick with my Final Finish 85RE5 knowing they're the same. I wish Menz could clear up their labelling... it just doesn't make sense to us consumers to have all these mixed up

You're not kidding about that labeling. My US Final Finish is NOT po85rd. I don't know the product number off hand but it's a higher cut than 85rd, which I also have. At least I think it is, that Menzerna labeling/chart system is a mess. lol

Yeah, even the bottle labeling looks just alike.. need to go the code printing at the bottom to exactly know which product that you have. FYI my 85RE5 has purple color

Hi guys to all of you who replied would you mind sharing if you use rotary or DA ? Thanks.

D/A for me... tried with rotary once, no difference in result & application. One downfall on the RE5 for me: gumming up quickly and sometimes dusty when the humidity is high.

Flex3401 for me with PO85RD, with absolutely zero issues. The 85rd with grey CCS just works in smooth, and almost disappears as I work it in slowly. It's the smoothest/easiest part of the correction process for me.
