Menzerna Polish Question

Hello all, I have been using WG TSR followed by Finishing Glaze for paint correction. Looking through the forums, it seems a lot of people recommend Menzerna and I was thinking maybe I should give that a try. What combos would be equivalent to the WG Twins? I was thinking Super Intensive Polish (PO83Q) with LC CCS orange pad and Super Finish (SF-4000) with LC CCS white pad. Looking forward to your responses.

I will leave it to others to give the exact equivalents since I seem to recall having seen this discussed here before, but i believe that those WG products are essentially equivalent to menz products, and are made by Menzerna. Buying Menzerna in addition to the WG twins only makes sense if you are looking for something in the Menzerna line that is different from what the WG twins equate to.
From memory, I think SF4000 and WG finishing glaze are the same, so having both is a waste of money. Not sure about swirl remover, maybe 1500?
 
Honestly, if you're using the Twins, you're basically using Menz products. IMO you might as well stick with them. Also, they're an awesome combo.
 
Well the WG twins are actually manufactured by menzerna

The TSR would be similar to IS1500 or PF2500

Finishing Glaze would be similar to SF4000.

I would recommend:

IS1500 and SF4500

Thanks for that. The reason I asked because I am pretty much at the end of my WG Twins combo 8oz bottles and didn't know that Menzerna made WG polishes so I thought I'd try Menzerna.

If you want to try something different, try Meg's M101 and 205.
 
I would say there are five polishes you'd ever need to own. The WG twins, M101, M205, and Sonax Perfect Finish.

How does finishing glaze compare with m205? After looking through other threads, they both seem to be a fine polish. If I keep the WG twins I wouldn't need m205 correct? Please don't take this as an attack as that isn't my intention. I'm still pretty new to these compounds/polishes and just want some things cleared up. Also it seems like m101 can replace m105?
 
It has been posted many times here that 105 has a steep learning curve. I haven't tried it so I can't comment from experience but I have been really happy with Menzerna FG400 for a hybrid compound/polish. Works with foam and with microfiber pads. Then follow with a finishing polish like 4000 or 4500.
 
The finishing glaze can replace M205 and frankly for less experienced users its a no brainier. It always produces consistently good results. M205 uses SMAT abrasives that require a bit of experience, more so than the WG twins.

M105 is another one of those products that takes some experience to figure it out. If you already have it I would use it. If not than M101 would be my choice between the two. I would only use it if the WG tsr isn't abrasive enough.

Always test the products on a small section before deciding what you need.
 
Stick with the wolfgang twins that you currently have and pick up FG400 for a bit more cut and SF4500 for the ultimate finish.
 
Thank you all for your input. Seems like almost everyone seems to recommend sticking with the WG Twins and if need be, get a high cut product if TSR just wont cut it (no pun intended) and for even higher gloss after WG FG get an even finer polish. But all in all the WG Twins should be the base for most paint correction.
 
It's the base for you sine you already have them. Some people prefer m105 and m205 over menzerna, but since you already have those just stick to that.

Both of these products use polishes milled by Menzerna. Together they are one of the best two-step systems out there. If you just want to do a one-step Menzerna Power Finish is as good as it gets.
