Well I finally got me a decent camera to take better pics, still these may not look completely perfect, I'm still trying to figure out this thing, its got like a million features, but for $50 bucks I take some time to figure out, man I love workin at Circuit City, it was open box for 200 and basically new and my manger needed his car cleaned, so we made a deal. Anyway, this is one of my returning customers cars, he warned that it was pretty bad of, and there was some truth to that, but overall all it wasn't bad, took about two hours, just wash and wax. The carpets were the worst part. The exterior was banged up in a few places, but the paint was still in realatively good shape. Here is what I used and did:

Washed: Megs. GC with six gllon bucket, grit guard, and the shmitt. I am still falling in love with this mitt each time I use it, practically eliminates the need for two buckets, just hit with the hose a fter each section, and your good to go, I did almost cry,jj, after putting two nice cuts in it, but it still works like new. These wheels had to be the hardest wheels I've ever done. All those tiny holes and the fact that brake dust was caked on made it almost impossible to completely clean, but I tried my best. I used PP, a small brush, and a mf glove, this proved to be very helpful, I had been wondering when I was going to use these. AA tire gel for tires.
Waxed: PB EX-P and a foam app. pad, removed with green cobra multi mf, and did a final wipe down with Megs. Final Inspection and Cobra Jr. Deluxe, still the best mf I've used so far.
Interior: Megs. #40 and Lexol Leather Cond., two of my favorite interior products, #40 has really good cleaning power and leaves a nice, non greasy finish, and it smells clean too. Lexol works on pretty much any type of leather, goes on easy, no greasy residue and makes even the roughest leather feel soft. For the carpets I tried something new, Oxi clean powder and purple power. In a 32 oz. bottle I added 1/4 of the oxi clean scoop and 1/2 and oz of PP. This combo proved very good, spray on, let sit and wipe off, no residue or color fasting, it got the majority of the stains out, the rest were perminantly stained, people and their coffee. Other than that IG on the glass.

Here are some before and after pics:

And for the review:

Cobra Deluxe MF APP. Pads:

These pads are a very versitile pad that can be used for cleaning or conditioning. I use them for applying vineyl and leather dressings. They allow for smooth, even application while efectively cleaning and trapping any dirt or debris . Fits in tight places and are the perfect size for your hand. I used to use mf towels, but no longer. These have greatly reduced application and cleaning time for me. They can be machined washed, but I often find that they are easier just to hand wash in a bucket with micro restore.
I highly recommend these pads, and at six for under 15 dollars its a steal.

Cobra Green MF App. Pad:

Like the orange pad, they work great inside, but also work very well on the outside. I've used them for paint cleaner and waxes/sealants. They apply smooth, even coats, even with carnubas. I like them with paint cleaners because the mf fibers act as scrubbers along with the cleaner to remove light or fresh paint contamination and the fibers trap any particles that could cause swirls. They fit perfectly in your hand so you can efectively apply on any surface without fear of fumbling with it or dropping it. As with the orange ones, they come clean easily either in the wash or bucket. Once again, I highly reccomend this product.

And thats it folks, I've got another post with review, but I'll post it tommorow.

Alchol wipes, jj. I didn't mean to get that in the pic, for the sake of the customer.

PP= Purple Power
the oxi clean works very good, I've been able to clean some stains by just spraying it, let it sit and jsut vacumm it up with out any scrubbing. I will warn you, don't use to much in a mix, to much will leave residue. But it is some pretty good stuff.

I actually install those at Circuit city, and I've often said I want ot put those in peoples cars so when they drink a little to much they don't crank the radio up and blow speakers and then I have to swap it out for free cause they got warrenty on it. And yes for the drinking and driving thing.

Good job! What year is that MB? My Mother had one that looked like that. She was so pissed when she came home one day to find my Father had sold it!
