Mercedes Benz – S63 AMG
Was contacted by this client to get her Mercedes looking better. Teamed up with Brett for this one.
The car was “cleaned” before we got there (real basic wash and vacuum). So we hit all the areas that are typically missed; door jambs, wheels, bugs, exhaust, etc.
The interior was pretty much spotless but was vacuumed and all panels were cleaned/treated with Meg #40, all leather conditioned with Wolfgang Leather Conditioner. All glass cleaned with Meg Glass Cleaner.
The exterior was clayed using Meg Clay (white) and was followed up with Wolfgang Fuzion for protection. The wheels and door jambs were cleaned with more attention using Meg Last Touch and various brushes. Once clean, they were sealed using Meg #20 sealant. Exhaust was polished using #0000 steel wool and followed up with Meg metal polish. Some minor scratches on the rear bumper were also polished out using M105 and 4 in Orange Pad on Griots DA.
Most of the attention spent on this car was on removing contaminants.
Clay bar after about ¼ of the hood
Contaminants were pretty visible, picture is from the trunk
Scratches on the rear bumper
Side skirts were still pretty dirty
Exhaust Before
Exhaust After
Sealant was used on the wheels
After the entire car was clayed, this surface was ready for some Fuzion
Afters (in garage)
Afters Outside (overcast)
The Mercedes was parked in the garage in the background, under the Ferrari that sits on the lift
Hope to take care of this one in the near future
