So my new (old) Avalanche got its full detail the other, burnt metallic orange.
Wolfgang sealer (my fav) followed by Maxwax.
It totally darkened the orange and isn't popping the flake. Wird, but I have always had black vehicles since into detailing..
So I am going to strip it sometime and redo it.

What products would not darken it and help the flake to pop better?

The old UPP 4* system with a wax?
Poorboys?
Any suggestions, I have a ton of things I need to use up so I can order some more.
Thanks

It seems like the WG topped with Maxwax should have done it (flake pop). Fuzion for sure. Sig Series II pretty sure. Don't know what sealant now.

Don't get me wrong, it looks really good, just seemed to hasten the flakearooni smackin the sky.

To keep my Honda's flake poppin I use Klasse AIO topped with Sig series II

I could try the AIO, it does seem to be fairly neutral.
Funny, AIO was the very first "good or boutique" product I tried, along with Natty Blue. I don't have Sig II. ANy others, I have tons out there, but no II. S100 perhaps?
