Metro Air Force commander dryer

Haven’t used one, but it does not require a 20amp outlet. Looks like this would be similar in performance or equate to half the power of the Master Blaster.

...does it require a 20a outlet?

From its product description page:
The American-made all steel
Commander is a state of the art
machine boasting a 900 watt engine...

*********************************

Amps = Watts/Volts
Amps = 900/120
Amps = 7.5 (the unit’s “running amps”)

Note:
If the number of Watts at “start-up”
would even be ~2X the unit’s stated
amount of 900W...the amperage then
would be ~1800/120 = ~15amps.

If I ever go that route, that would probably be my choice. But being I wash really early in the Summer, I am sure it would drive the neighbors nuts!

I have the McKee Dryer. It works fine, but I find the design is bulky and a bit clumsy.
