Just looking to see if this would be good for engine bays as well?

Im looking to use it for door handles, body seams, lights, smaller places where water gets. Just wanted to see if it was a viable option for engine drying as well?

it really works best at close range so you might have trouble reaching the bottom parts of the engine but I think it'll do fine...

Alright. Just want a blower that will make it easier that just using a towel. Anyone else have any feedback.

The Sidekick come with a couple of nozzles that allow it to reach into those areas that for the most part are unreachable. The sidekick is superb for all the areas you mention as well as the engine bay, cowl, wheels, tires, lug nut pockets ect...:props:

FPEvo Exactly i was wondered about same thing but what i found is We do get some thing like this in Normal hardware supplies (here in India)

i believe you guys will be getting this something like Wallmart sorta thing

and why i prefer this cause

1) i dont get any professional service for any issue here in india (rare to find a right person to fix.
2) its quite cheap! in term " Easily Affordable" than Metro Blaster 79.99
3) i can grab another machine if i cant get it fixed again at very less price

But i find "Metro Blaster " is quite Brilliant Tool carry ! I sooo Wanna have one! but afraid i may spoil it with my improper use and find no service around :(

Its a Defiantly MUST HAVE tool if you feel "one time investment - Quality - Service( source available to fix it )"

Thanks BobbyG much appreciated. Been on the fence about getting one, but hate when im detailing a car and water just start dripping out of those areas.

I forgot that it came with that fan shaped nozzle! Darnit, I have no idea where it is now...

does it work any better than the one that comes attached to the unit?

Hey Tim,

It actually comes with two; a tapered nozzle that concentrates the air and a fanned nozzle that for a broader distribution of air for a larger panel... They both serve a purpose and are worth having...

I'll bet if you contacted the manufacture they'd figure out a way to get them to you....

Thanks Bobby, I'm just missing the fan nozzle. I think the tapered one was already attached when my wife brought it back from Chicago...

I use a small blower I got from Chemical Guys. Same idea, cheaper price. No filter though like what the Sidekick has.

Looks just like the pic in post #5.
