MF 360 vs 460 gsm

Sirs,

Is there a reason to splurge more on a 460 gsm towel? Use will be mainly for applying OCW and removing polishes/ aio/ wax. A dozen 360 gsm (CG) will cost me around USD 23 but the same number of 460 gsm/ MIK (MF Tech) will be about USD 56.

Price alone sways me to get the cheaper alternative but if benefit in getting the higher price is substantial, I'm willing to go that route.

I honestly have no clue what type my paint is but if it will help, I own a 2000 White Montero.

Without getting into brand quality, I tend to focus on the thickness of the fibers relative to the task at hand.

For OCW, a waffle weave works best for me so very thin nap at worst. Waxes and polishes - medium nap. Thicker naps are for removing dirt and grime.
