MF Pads w/ PC

Hey guys, just want to make sure it's safe to switch to microfiber pads with my PC 7424XP and not burn through the paint. Is it safe? I use foam pads but I like the concept of just having a finishing and cutting pad instead. So am I good to purchase these and still not burn through paint?
