I have a huge collection of towels from over the years. I use them for everything from armor all on the dash, to removing wax and sealants, to apllying tire dressing.

Just wondering what the best washing detergent is for cleaning them.

What I do to clean my towels/applicators etc is dunk them in boiling water and all the crap will float to the surface, or instead you could soak them in a bucket with vinegar. Then throw them in the washing machine with detergent ONLY, then air dry or tumble dry. If you tumble try don't use any Bounce, etc

I use CG microfiber cleaner at the moment with great success. Been reading lots about the woolite thing lately, going to have to give it a go and try it.

After using mf towels put them in a bucket of very hot water mixed with OxiClean and let them soak for an hour or two. Take towels out after soaking and machine wash with a dedicated microfiber restorer or detergent (Blackfire and CGs make good ones). Add a cup of vinegar to a second rinse cycle and dry either in machine without any fabric sheets or softener or hang on clothes line for air dry (make sure there is no pollen flying around).
