I have tried using various 'glass' microfiber towels that say won't leave behind lint or fibers when cleaning glass. I clean the windows inside and out and it looks clean. But when I drive the car and the sun hits the window at the right angle, I see many little clear fibers all over the glass. I wash them with all my other microfibers, are they picking up fibers from other towels during the wash/dry process?

Any towels that don't have this issue? I may switch to old cloth diapers to clean windows.

I got some glass microfibers (I forgot which ones and I can't find them on AG) and man do they suck! They lint everywhere!

Now I'm back to square 1. I just use my normal cobras: gold, supreme 530, or deluxe 600 and they work amazingly well on windows and never lint.

I have never purchased MF specific glass towels and I just use my regular interior microfibers with a short nap for any window cleaning. As long as the nap isnt too long and the MF is not soaked with product you shouldnt encounter any fibers left over.

I use MF drying towels for my windows works great.

I had the same problem. Very frustrating. I switched from MF to a glass specific paper towel (Wypall L10). This is a lint free towel designed to clean windshields. It's used by body shops and auto glass companies. I picked some up at my local NAPA (they will order). Seem to work well. I usually use two towels per side of glass. I think I spent $20 and got 700 towels. I do believe Scott's makes a glass specifc paper towel as well. Saw them in the auto section of Wal-Mart.
