So according to the microfiber chart on auto geeks store, there is only one towel for compound removal. I seriously doubt this is true, but when it comes to removing something like fg400 on black paint, what type of towel is recommended? It seems like all the towels say "perfect for detailing or removing wax", but I couldn't find others saying good for removing compound. Ideas?

Towels with a shorter nap work well for removing compound or polish. The AG grey 530's are a good towel, so are the above recommendations.

Meguiars supreme shine. After used give them a good wash and you can always demote them to make an excellent wheels, door jam or engine towel.
So for another yearly compound, polish stage will always start with new towels.
Save the nice towel for QD or wax remover job :)
