My microfiber towel collection is growing and lets be honest, they are expensive. I always wonder if a towel will be worth the price before I buy it, so I will share my thoughts on some towels so you guys can make a better decision.

1. 16 X 16 All Purpose towels that AG includes in their kits. These towels are made in China. These towels are pretty soft for a short nap towel from China. They are on the thinner side and I'm not 100% I'd use them on paint, but most likely they'll be fine. I'd probably use them to soak in ONR and then use them to agitate IronX. They'd also be perfect for interior and general use.

Unfortunately, the tag is sewn in so you just need to cut off as much as you can. Tearing it will lift up the border.

2. Gold Plush JR 16 X 16
*From this point on, all of the following towels I feel are 100% paint safe.

These towels are made of Korean microfiber and assembled in China. The towels felt pretty grabby when new, but a quick wash in DP MF detergent got rid of that feel. The tag is just a sticker.

The towel has a long nap and a short nap side. Personally, I don't care for that and would just prefer two separate towels.

Here is the long nap side. Notice there is some exposed stitching.

3. CG 16 X 16 Professional Grade Premium MF
These towels are made in China and are tagless if I recall correctly. They are basically Gold Plush JR knock offs with the same long and short nap sides. However these have a silk lined border and are a little more grabby, but a little softer than the 1st towel mentioned.

4. 16 X 16 Arctic Whites
These towels are made in Korea, have a sticker tag, silk lined border, and are very plush with a relatively long nap on both sides. These are even softer than a Gold Plush JR so when these are on BOGO which is often, they are a fantastic deal.

5. Adam's Single Soft
This towel is pretty much identical to Arctic Whites but seem to be a bit thicker. The only other difference is the border.

*Ignore that small piece of dirt :xyxthumbs:

6. Adam's Double Soft
This towel is basically two single softs put together. It is incredibly thick and plush.

I hope this helps you guys with some of your MF decisions because I know there is nothing worse than buying a towel and then deciding it isn't right for you.
