I have Stumbled onto a way to store my microfiber towels. I buy cat food in 14 lb plastic buckets. I have collected four of them as they can also be used to store water when the hurricane comes. (I live in Tallahassee, Fl) I market he container; one is for dirty towels and two are for clean towels. Should a hurricane come the dirty towel bucket will be used only for water to pour in the toilet

I never have dirty towels laying around

I have a series of 3 hampers in our laundry room downstairs that I use for my car towels. I always thoroughly rinse and hang-dry any towels overnight before I toss them in the hamper. I have enough of just about any towel to wash our 2 vehicles 3x before i need to do wash. I usually wait until I have enough for a small to medium size load.

(1) for HQ MF Towels but I wash them seperately, polish towels vs anything that actually touches dirty surfaces
(1) for Pads which I have tons of and usually do when needed.
(1) for Older cheap MF Towels and terry cloth towels. I have tons of these so I usually do a 1-2 loads per month.

I just have flip top storage bins and an old large kitchen garbage can. Clean towels in the bin, dirty towels in the can, to the basement to be washed......

What do you do with dirty wet towels? Dry first then store until there's enough to do a load? If you dry dirty towels won't that set the stains faster? Can they be stored in a gamma sealed bucket with a cleaning solution unitl washed?
