microfiber towels - 16X16 or 16X24 ?

what's your preference with microfiber towels between the two sizes?

a) 16X16

b) 16X24
 
Agree with the above on 16 x 16. The store more easily in a Ziplock bag too!
 
16 x 16 NO QUESTION!!

A 16 x 24 is how do I say.... "Awk-warrrd"

In fact my pops and I have had this discussion more than once! an 8x8 or 12x12 would be great!
 
The bigger size is better. More "clean" surface area when using QD, etc... And, you can fold it to any size you want.
 
I have both 16x16 and 16x24.

I find myself using the 16x24 more, and more. The size seems to give me more towel surface when cleaning, wiping or polishing, etc.
You can fold in quarters or half, depending on your needs. It seem the 16x24 is alittle more versatile.
 
It depends of the purpose of the MF. For a drying MF, bigger for sure. For everything else, USUALLY a little smaller.
 
When I use MF's, I prefer the 16x16 size. They are not my go to towel anymore except for interiors.
 
For removing polishes or waxes I prefer 16x16. For QD work or drying I prefer larger 16x24 towels.
 
16x16 . they folded up nicely doubled each way . easy to refold and know what sides u have already used , and just fit the hand so nicely also . of course bigger sizes for drying .
 
24x30 or larger for regular wash.
16x24 for drying waterless and rinseless wash.
16x16 for everything else.
 
I prefer variety.

16x16's for wax and polish removal, cleaning glass and some spares for multipurpose/general use.

16x24 is my favorite Guzzler size (drying), interior cleaning and buffing off any spray waxes or detail sprays.

Of course all towel colors coordinated as well. Not only for organization, but to remind my neighbors I take detailing seriously when they poke around my garage to borrow a tool. :D
 
thanks to everyone who has replied thus far and i'm with the majority of you and prefer the 16x16 size as well (sometimes usually a little less expensive as well). the coverage of it folded fits right in your palm/hand, where as with a 16x24 it's one and a half the size. just got to make sure there's quality edging whether it be silk or microfiber banded...

p.s. just curious with everyone else so keep the opinions coming....
