Hey, sorta copying off of a similar thread, I was wondering if I were to set up a weekly/monthly/annual get together at the new car Dealership I work for, would there be any interest?

Feed back please

Sorry to be such a flagrant idea thief, but what better way to train myself? ;)

Not a thief at all, the king of this was Mosca who was a dealer finance guy and member of a Miata club, and had a meet at his dealership, had like 50 people there, took over the whole service dept., and it wasn't even a Mazda dealer. As I said in that other thread, Poorboy Steve had some connections at a dealer up near him.

When you decide when and where, let me know.

Maybe I'll be in town. I have a few products folks can play with.....

Nice idea. Wish I was local, would love to learn from any fellow detailers.

Just a thought, maybe AG could introduce a regional section here on the forums?

A regional section would certainly help in organizing these type of get togethers.. May even prompt the get togethers to pool resources and pay to fly in the experts from "Sunny Stuart Florida" for a 3 day course or something.. :hint:

It's very difficult to organize a detailing clinic outside of a big city. Believe me, I've done it... It's also important to realize the skill level of your audience. If you cater to wet sanding, there's many people who haven't even picked up a polisher.

Depending on the locaction, I would be up for something in Missouri.

Dasa valid point, I would certainly defer to experience there...

As for the where? Exit 127 on I-44, Lebanon Mo. You may remember it from the days of yore as the "Odometer rollback capital of the US".
