Mike is up and at 'em !Literally! Go check out the forum. Good stuff

I didn't realise Autogeek and Mike Philipps were separate, and he isn't part of it now. That other post where people was asking what happened to this forum... maybe people flocked there.

I remember asking questions and had an answer from him on my other account. Nice that he still does that on his new website.
 
That forum is kind of dead. I completely forgot it existed until I was bored and went to look at one of Mike’s posts.

Maybe he didn’t have as big of a following as he thought. If there’s no product to push then there’s no other reason for someone to visit that forum unless to speak to him directly. Maybe if autowhatever he is a part of now had it’s own forum or linked it to his forum, there would be more activity.

Or people don’t give a crap about forums now.

Nice to hear him answer folks. For me at least. I wasn't around in the old days when he was online.

I didn't spend a of time checking in there - did it go dormant from him focusing on the brief 3D endeavor?

Anyone else think Autoforge naming is a bit of a zing at Autogeek? (Especially since their website is .net - can't say I see a lot of .net websites)

I don’t understand the name autoforge. What the heck is a forge?
 
It wouldn't surprise me if it's completely made up
 
It was IDS car car (.com) before. Maybe the change was to make it geek’ish

For me, if the forum is not on Tapatalk, I'm probably not gonna frequent it. That's another strike against Mike P's forum.

EXACTLY.

I can’t remember the last time I looked at this forum on desktop view… And I’ve also been unable to log off tapatalk for about a year now because my phone is kinda broken yet still functional for the most part. But the right side of my screen is unusable so I can’t log off. Lol.

I'm the opposite. I only visit on my desktop. My phone is just that - my phone. Oh, and camera.

The only time I ever use my phone for internet activity is if I'm away from home... Like on a road trip.
