Mini / micro polishers

I am in the market for one these, but I cant go with the rupes nano cause of the $$$$$$$$$.$$ & have read about so many of them fail ( no doubt some to user error ). I know Adams & Proxxon makes one also. Would like to hear what other folks are using and feedback on what they have experienced.

I have a Griot's G8 DA and a G3 Rotary. I'm happy with both.

On the downside is the polisher body size. It gets in the way in many instances, but unless you spend the bucks on the Rupes I think most units you consider will have that same issue.

I like the Flex Pxe 80 but don’t recommend the Milwaukee M12 Polisher. Speed is controlled by the finger and it spins WAY too fast. Burnt a small area on my son’s headlight due to speed and lack of control. I think I bought the Pxe the night I tried using the Milwaukee to clean tires and headlights.

I’ve read good and bad about the Adam’s and the Nano is definitely a better quality product. Bit if you wanna save the $300 go for the Adams.

It has the smaller profile like the Nano so will fit more into the tight spaces. probably the best quality sub $200

Considered the Pixie and Adams but decided if i get a Nano i’ll bite the Nano bullet.

That nano is just way to much $$ for me since I am on a fixed income.

You may not want to purchase the nano but for me it’s paid for itself.

I own both the ibrid and the PXE. I still reach for ibrid more often. It can get into tighter areas better.

The benefit of the PXE is the interchangeable polishing heads is quicker and has more power to use it as a 3 inch polisher.

An ibrid can be purchased without the kit.

Don’t forget there is an aftermarket extension for the Pixe that is the only way I use the 1” buffs.

The SPTA micro polisher gets some love over on detail world. It looks like it might be from same manufacturer as Adams.

If you can find it on sale though looks like a good deal as it comes with a ton of pads.
