I did this detail for a friend of mine who wanted his truck polished up and sealed for the summer. Nothing too extreme. The great thing was that it was prime time to test out my new Griots Garage 6" RO polisher. Great tool, with solid build, I highly recommend it to other people looking for a new RO polisher!

Products Used:
CG Wash and Clear and Megs APC in Foam Gun to soak
CG Wash and Clear via 2x4 wash method
MF Wash Mit
electric leaf blower to dry followed by WW MF towels
Power Clean on wheels, arches and tires
EZ Detail Brush, Mini and swissvax wheel brush
Griots Garage 6" RO polisher
LC White pads
LC Black
Optimum Polish II
Optimum Poliseal
Optimum Car Wax
Stoners More Shine on tires
Poorboys Trim Restorer on faded trim (might need Black Wow)
IG on Glass
Rejex on wheels
Stoners Trim Shine on wheel wells

A few befores

Looks brand new!

I'm sure your friend is very pleased....

I assume you were using the 6.5" pads with your new Griot's Garage Polisher since it comes with a 6" backing plate...

For others that will read this thread, any issues keeping your pads rotating?

Mike, yes I opted for the 6.5" pads for a majority of the work and had no issues at all keeping the pads rotating unless I really tried (6' tall and 225 lbs) while keeping the pad flat. For tighter areas such as the bumpers I went with 5.5" pads and an LC 5" backing plate and it worked great!

The Griots Garage Polisher is a great machine. Can't wait to put more hours on it!
