Car came to me with a few buffer ribbons from a previous owner/dealership that obviously didn't quite know what they were doing. Car cleaned up extremely well and I think I have a new favorite color
Process:
Clean wheel wells with PP cut down 3:1 and inner fender brush
Clean wheels/tires with P21s Wheel Cleaner, Schmitt Mitt, Tire Brush, and assorted wheel brushes
Pre-soak car with Foam Gun and Meg's Gold Class
Remove bugs from front portion of vehicle using Carrand Bug Brush
Rinse
Soak again with Meg's Gold Class and foam gun
Wash vehicle using Carrand Microfiber-Fingers mitt using 2-bucket method
Rinse
Dry using Absorber and MF's and an Air Hose to clean out joints and mirrors
Removed license plates (CCS pads don't win against license plates)
Clay using Meguiars Mirror Glaze Professional Detailing Clay-Mild and Meg's Quick-Detailer as a Lube (this is my first time using this clay and I have nothing but praises)
1000 grit wet sand on exhaust tips
1500 grit wet sand on exhaust tips
P21s Paintwork Cleanser on Wheels
Wax wheels using DP Max Wax
Pinnacle XMT#3 applied via PC7424/Lake Country CCS Orange Pad at 5000 RPM
Pinnacle XMT#1 applied via PC7424/Lake Country CCS White Pad at 6000 RPM
Mothers Aluminum polish on tailpipes
In and out spray on front grilles and wheel-wells
Wizards Trim and Plastic restore on lower rear valance and sideskirts
P21 Paintwork cleanser on entire vehicle
DP Max Wax (I tried Pinnacle Souveran on an area of the hood but didn't like the results as well)
Stoner Invisible Glass on the windows
Meguiars High Endurance Tire Shine (smells like grapes and works awesome)
Re-installed Plates
I'm sure I'm forgetting somethings. Car turned out Great
Befores: (I took some pictures with and without the flash to show different defects

This car had some nasty surface contaminants. Mostly just bugs, looked like someone put the passenger side front wheel thru some fresh paint and threw it all over the door/fender, some old decal/emblem glue, and in the rear some nasty brake/rotor dust. Today was the first time I used Meguiars Professional Clay (I used the mild version) and it worked FANTASTIC!!! All of the following pictures of the clay are from about a 3' by 3' section. I had to kneed the clay very often. The pictures will explain

An example of some of the buffer ribbons left behind. I think this is the only pic I have of them but they're randomly placed around the car. Nothing too serious and definitely something that can be fixed

Afters: My buddy Charlie got into a few of the pics on accident :) . Would have loved to get some pictures in direct sunlight to show the pearl in the paint but I just ran out of daylight/time.

Thanks for looking. Your feedback is VERY appreciated. Also for my shameless plug. IF you're in the area I have openings on Wednesday and Friday this week.

looks great!. I have a black GTI too. I'm not crazy about the color but it cleans up nice.

I have the 4 door black GTI. After buying it - I washed, clayed - Clay Magic, sealed with Megs 21 2.0. After a few washes, I added Megs 26, few more washes and I topped the chemical guys 50-50. I like the look but I'm going to try Jeatseal and Pete's 53 next time.
