So weird thing, one of my white foam polishing pads has grown some mold on it? I thought I had that sucker all dried out before I threw it in the ziploc for storage, apparently not.....so question is, anyone have any idea how to get rid of the mold/fungus? or should I just chuck the pad?

EDIT: If it makes any difference, it's a white, LC flat pad 5.5"

It has happened to some hydro tech of mine.... I've just kept using it, no problem

A bleach water solution should take it off...not sure if it will do any damage to the pad...mix about 15-20:1 and I don't think it will hurt the pad. Soak it for a while and it should come off...and out of the pores...

Good suggestion! Now to find some bleach to mix, gotta find where my lady hides it!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll try the bleach trick above first, if not, I'll run a test spot with it when I get the chance in a few weeks or so, thanks!

if there is mold and it doesn't come out, toss it. the health risk is not worth it. i put my pads in a snap lid container rather than ziploc pads and has worked well for me many years...
