More information about the detailing classes at Autogeek

We get people asking for more information about our detailing classes here at Autogeek. All of this information is here on the forum.

To make it easy to find it ALL - I put it in this one simple thread...

Next Competition Ready Class is September 29th, 30th and October 1st

These 3-day classes are held the same time every year because the majority of the students fly in from around the United States and from around the world and everyone needs time to both schedule their trip and budget for their airline tickets, hotels, rental cars and meals.

1: Last weekend of January (sometimes this class is in February depending upon what's going on in January)

2: First weekend of May

3: Last weekend of September

This is the ONLY class where you get to use all the popular tools for car detailing NOT just one brand. Check on any other class for what tools you get to use and it is always one tool. Maybe a second brand but usually a single brand tool and that's it. At this class you'll get to use,

  • FLEX polishers
  • RUPES polishers
  • Griot's polishers
  • Makita polishers
  • Meguiar's polishers
  • Porter Cable polishers

Plus tools from

  • Tornador

You also get to use a great variety of brands for chemicals, for example,

  • SONAX
  • RUPES
  • Griot's
  • GYEON
  • CarPro
  • Pinnacle
  • McKee's 37
  • Meguiar's
  • Wolfgang
  • RaggTopp
  • 303 Aerospace
  • Nanoskin
  • Tuff Shine
  • 3D
  • Solution Finish
  • Optimum Polymer Technologies

Buffing pads from

  • Lake Country
  • Buff & Shine

Plus any new pads, products or tools that have been recently introduced to the market, in most cases Autogeek has them before anyone else.

of the cars and the students going through the class.

If you want to see, click the link below and then start clicking on all the threads. (A thread is a list of messages displayed in a linear fashion). My threads a loaded with PICTURES showing happy people having fun working on cool cars.

That's what a good class is all about, having fun while learning.

My classes are also the MOST hands-on in this industry. There's very little time sitting in a chair. The majority of time you'll be on our feet using tools and that's how you learn. You don't learn by sitting in a chair listinening to someone talk and talk and talk....

Other's can start in the future copying this format but no one has the pictures to document their past classes. So without pictures... it's all talk.

:)

And cars...

What kind of cars do you get to work on?

This is just an example. See all the cars HERE because I document this too....

I've created individual thread for every car that is used for our classes but this one is to show them all in a single thread because this is POWERFUL.

The May class is SOLD OUT! The next class is September 23rd, 24th and 25th and if you want to take your IDA Skill Validation testing and certification then you need to make plans to be here on Monday, September 26th.

In this picture the paint looks pretty good?

Swirl City
I parked this car outside in the sun to document what the paint actually looks like and as you can see it's filled with swirls, scratches and some water spots. The people that attend this class will be the people that learn how to create a true show car finish on one of the most popular cars ever built in the history of man.

I could invest an entire day and still not share every picture of every car that has been detailed by the students that attend these classes. Suffice to say, this is the ONLY class where you work on the REAL-DEAL. That is you learn show car detailing on real show cars.

You learn production detailing on daily drivers.

There's no other class anywhere on earth with more DOCUMENTED pictures of the cars you actually get to work on except the classes taught here at Autogeek.

So if you want to attend the best and most hands-on class on planet earth, then get signed up.
