So I have been very impressed with Ultima's product line since I started using them back in November '10. For the past six months, my routine is driving 8 miles to work, then 8 miles back. Frequent washes and UPGP application have always made keeping the truck clean very easy.

Today I head out to Mexico Beach FL to check out a condo that I'm interested in; as I PCS from Keesler to Tyndall AFB. It is about 300mi each way. About 9-10 hours on the road total, I was kinda dreading how my truck was going to look afterwards; I like to keep my 4Runner spotless and I think I hit every bug from MS to FL...

Get home and go straight to the car wash, I was just going to give it a good rinse with the high-pressure hose. There would be time and energy for a full detail later in the week..

There are bugs plastered over every inch of the windshield and front end. My grill could have doubled as an entomology laboratory. I wish I would of had my camera to snap a couple quick pics of the carnage. It was awesome..

I take a single pass with the high-pressure rinse at the front bumper plastic cladding and every trace of insect disappears. Move on to the grill and hood, takes two passes to get the job done. Incredible...

I really don't think I'll ever use anything else.. :props:

I have to say I agree with you!

Ultima products not only live up to the reputation, they do it extremely well!! They are a bit pricey but when quality is the number 1 goal then considering how little you use, the price isn't all that bad!! :props:

Gonna have to add to the love...

I LOVE their stuff. Every product of theirs that I've used so far I've been impressed with. It's durable, easy to use and leaves the surface applied to looking just right....

How did they get it so right???

It may be a little bit pricey, but, once you've used it you understand it's easily worth every penny!

Ultima products I have:

Paint Guard Plus
Tire & Trim Guard Plus
Interior Guard Plus
Interior Shampoo Gel

I'm sure there's one more I'm forgetting.....

I really love the look and ease of use of UPGP but noticed that it doesn't release road film from driving in the rain near as easily as other products that I have such as EX-P, 845 and Natty's. After my next coat of UPGP maybe I'll top it with Natty's Red and see how that works/looks.

The UTTG is definitely the most impressive tire dressing that I have ever used.

What kind of durability do you get with the uttg? I have recently been using some that I found at my shop and was wondering what to expect.

I applied 3 coats on my tires over the course of 3 washings applying the third coat about a month ago. I have sprayed an alkaline cleaner on the wheels and tires to attack the road scum after a rain and power washed them and it didn't remove the UTTG. Simply amazing stuff IMO.

I think we all, and Corey especially, can sing the praises of this line.

Yeah I bought the UPGP a while back when every post in the forum was raving about it and I'll be honest and say j can't really tell the difference... My paint was already near perfect... Gets frequent jeweling with 205 and Souveran so one day I IPA'd and applied the UPGP and like my OptiSeal it had a few spots that needed to be buffed with a towel that may have gone on thick but I didn't see, feel and increased gloss or slickness on my Black Tahoe... Maybe I am just at the pinnacle of gloss I have already attained prior to UPGP ... Who knows?!?!
Nonetheless I've used this product on boats I detail on any railings, gel coated surfaces, inner hard plastics, windows and what not and they seem to like it as it repels water decently but word tk the wise young forum reader is to not jump on the bandwagon of all the latest posts as I think the forum could sometimes be biased to certain brands, Ultima and Opt being the first two I think of
My two cents

:iagree: :) LOL, its great to see Ultima getting the recognition it deserves. I remember a year ago when it seems like most of this forum hadn't heard of it!

I'm glad you posted this Fred. You make a very valid point that people should not just buy all of the Ultima products based on just how much others like the products. I can tell you I love almost all their products but that doesn't neccesarily mean everybody will love them... I disagree with your point of slickness with UPGP. One product that imo is not up for debate is the Ultima Trim and Tire Guard. I have used many trim protectant products and it is simple fact that UTTG is the very best unless you step up to a much more expensive coating (C4). Now if your trim needs to actually be restored from serious fading then I would recomend the C4.

The Ultima Waterless is an incredible product imo. I love the UPGP and after polishing to perfection I can see a difference... especially after a second coat. I love the UIGP as well but can see where it might be too much of a matte look for some people.

On the materials I have used it on: After 3 months I noticed some fading but even after 6 months it was not gone completely. Here are some pictures from awhile back on a severly faded bumper. Keep in mind this was using only one coat of UTTG and this car is in the Florida sun 24/7/365.

On newer trim it can still easily look very good after 3 months depending on the material. On my Sky which is garaged it lasts forever. By the time I reapply it still looks new.

After about 3 months:
