Mother's California Gold synthetic wax....quick review

So we had our Chicagoland detail fest last weekend and Forrest sent out some Mother's products for samples and give away prizes, thanks again for that Forrest.

I can't say I've tried any Mother's products in the past other than their quick detailer and I remember it having a cinnamon scent, that I remember. I did get another sample of that stuff and have been using it and it does the job and still has that scent, nice product.

So yesterday afternoon I decided to try this stuff out. Now granted, I've got alot of stuff already on my car but I still wanted to try it out. I wiped the car down with some Garry Dean quick detailer (amazing product right there:dblthumb2 and then applied the Mother's synthetic wax to the entire car and then removed it. I must say this, it came off w/o hardly any effort and NO dusting at all, very good! Now for the finish, its kinda like the warm look you get when using a nuba but didn't leave quite the same depth as a quality nuba like Black Fire for instance. This doesn't mean it didn't look good, it did but just not the same as a quality nuba and certainly not the finish you'd get from DuraGloss for sure.

I would still suggest this product to someone due to its ease of use, the finish (still nice) and price, surely its not that expensive and readily available OTC and here on AG as well. Not really into the whole "scale of 1-10" ratings but if I had to give it a number, i'd say its a 7 when you factor everything in.

I am a pretty big fan of mothers 100% pure carnuba (as well as the Reflections line and Showtime QD)... They're great for daily drivers and stuff that is left outside... inexpensive, easy on, easy off... looks about like you said, 8/10.

I have enough left over to do the car about 3 more times and I will use it up for sure, maybe even apply it to my g/f's ride.
