Picked up a bottle of this looking to do what it says it'll do :D However, the instructions say to wipe it off. I am looking to use it as a first shot, and would rather not wipe/rub.

Anyone have experience just hosing it off?

TIA

Why would you hose it off?...It's a panel wipe used before applying a LSP

Yeah I’m not sure what your plan is but the Mothers is super easy to use as is most panel preps. I would think the mechanical process of spreading and removing with a towel helps aid in removal plus these are almost all alcohol based and you’d want to make sure you get it off all surfaces.

Why not just follow Mothers directions?

Right. The mechanical function of wiping off the panel prep with a MF towel is crucial to creating a clean surface ready for the protection layer.

Didn't realize until I got home with it...

What's the fun in that? Every hot-rodder knows better than the manufacture :D

In all seriousness, thanks for the replies Gents. I was incorrectly under the impression that this was similar to an Iron remover as upon first read. It sounded like they do similar - but not exactly - the same things.
