So has anyone used this? What are your thoughts on the newest version that is now out. The Mothers truck is up the road from me for a few days, and I'm interested after talking to the rep.

He had said that they don't use a diminishing abrasive in the entire line, and that you can wipe it off without having to work it to a flash, without inducing any marring or hologramming.

I'm very interested if that's the case, but I can't find any good reviews on it currently. They want $35 a bottle or $150 for the set (no tax either), so if it gets good remarks, maybe I'll go pick it up.

They are at the Good Guys car show in Columbus this weekend along with the Meg's boys too. Got three lambswool mits from them for 10 bucks. Not a bad deal!

Sounds more like Meg's SMAT type product.

Ummm forgive my ignorance but whats SMAT?

Synwax, Reflections and now a Professional line ??

They've had a pro line for a while, then discontinued it for a couple of years, and then started it back up this year. It's geared toward body shops, and thusly has no actually LSP besides a hand glaze. They're reasoning being, they don't want to have a wax or sealant inteferring with the actual curing of the paint.

There was a review over at autopia but I guess they had a crash a couple months ago, and it is now gone... And I can't seem to find one on Google either.

I emailed a Mothers contact and asked for some deeper explanation of products and their benefits and tasks. Will indeed post here once I hear back.

Cool thanks, if it's Forrest or one of those bunch, they are in Columbus at the Good Guys show till Sunday night. Nice setup they had, but the Meg's truck was nicer (whole detailers line for sale!)

On a side note I have never seen so many cool cars with such bad paint. Swirls, micro-marring, and holograms galore today...

I believe that Mark V is manufacturing Mothers professional line and therfore it would be very good products.

Mothers now has there own Forum. Don't remember the exact name but google should be able to draw it up.Looked at it but didn't care too much about it.

I've looked at waxforum.com Not really much info in their pro section on them. It's no biggie to me, but for the price it wasn't a bad option if I needed something in a pinch (there's a local distro I've found at least). But before I went that way, wanted to get some info first. I always read reviews on products before buying. Burned too many times in the past now not too.
