Anyone use these products before?

Step 1 pre wax cleaner
Step 2 micro glaze
Step 3 pure carnauba wax

On a newer silver metallic car without any noticeable swirls anywhere would the first two steps be necessary? Would applying any of these steps by hand make it a wast of time?

This is all assuming the car would be clayed first.

Yes...Good concise system! :dblthumb2:

Whenever I Clay...I polish.

This means I'd follow-up with, at the very least:
the entire Mother's 3-Step System.

Thanks bob. Have you applied all three steps by hand? I guess that's my biggest question. I'd be applying these by hand so I wouldn't have the advantage of a DA for that pristine finish.

Yep...not so much FUN!

While most people are interested in working by machine for anyone still working by hand here's a write-up that shows a simple process anyone can do and get stellar results. :xyxthumbs:
So...Let me suggest the following:

(Substitute your "Mother's 3-Step System" for the products
used in this article by Mike Phillips)

Excellent response Bob! That system is solid one to start out with. I remember the days of using the other Big "M" system. I always received compliments on how nice the shine was on my bright red 1994 Chevy Cavalier. That was back in the day of using cloth terry towels and diaper cloths. :D

I have used it by hand and no issues. They are easy to use. If you have paint in great condition, I would skip step 2.

Yeah it used to be pretty much all hand unless you had a rotary or one of those giant buffer things that did not do any correcting really.

There was the mothers and meguairs three step process that always gave good results. I remember seeing clay magic in Summit racing for the first time in the mid 90s with claims of being "professional" and ordering it and having some great results all by hand.

I just used the 3 step system last week on my grand prix was happy with the results used a da polisher
