This thread is a continuation of my previous thread reviewing Muc-Off Prewax Cleanser which can be found here http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...f-prewax-cleanser-review-tlc-auto-detail.html
So, to follow up my use of Muc-Off's prewax cleaner I needed to protect my finish. I decided there was no better choice than Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax. The liquic wax comes in a metal bottle which I thought was kinda cool since you don't normally see that anymore. Here is the product in the AG store and description:
Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax, car wax, paint sealant
As with the prewax cleanser this product can be applied by hand or machine. I always apply my liquid LSP's by machine so I chose to use my PCXP and a black pad.
To prep for this review/test I taped off a section of the hood to use as a control. To add a little more science to this review i decided to only use the prewax cleanser on one side. I'm just trying that to see if it affects the durability at all. We always hear that an LSP will last longer on a cleaner surface, so hopefully this will prove it.
So then I went ahead and applied the product with the PC. I went a little thick on the drivers side front just to see how easy it would be to buff off.
the bottle says you only need to wait 30-45 seconds for the wax to haze and it can be removed. I went ahead and waited about 3 minutes, and it passed the swipe test so I buffed it off. I will admit it was a little more difficult to remove the wax where it was applied too thick. It was by no means impossible, but it did take a little more effort. On the areas where it was properly applied it was a dream to buff off. Also there was no dust at all to speak of. It was very user friendly in application and removal.
I'm sure many of you know this, but I am a big fan of Carnuba waxes. I like the deep wet look much better than the shiny, platic look of sealants. for that one reason I really like this product! It gave my Cube a super deep, dark, wet look that I would usually only get from a high end carnuba wax. I was very impressed with how great it looked considering the price. If this lasts anywhere near as long as other carnuba waxes we will have a real winner on our hands!!! Here are some pics after it was removed. Please bear with me since I was fighting the sunset and an incoming storm. I will get some more pictures when weather and light permits.
I should note that the drivers side was the one that was cleaned with the Muc-Off prewax cleanser. The passenger side was just washed and then waxed. Also notice in the last picture hear the tape line down the middle. It's a little hard to see, but it's there.
Finally we having beading and sheeting. I wasn't able to get videos tonight due to the fading light, but these pictures illustrate it well I think. I must admit I was impressed with the sheeting knowing it is a carnuba based product. I couldn't get water to sit on the hood without wanting to sheet down the front and off the sides. I was really impressed, and will add videos so you can see the full sheeting ability.
So there we have it. I think we have a great product in this liquid wax. It goes on easy, removes easy, looks great, and sheets/beads wonderfully!! If the durability proves to be on par with other waxes or even sealants this will quickly become a favorite of mine!
They make some pretty bold claims about the car being easier to wash and so on, so I will be sure to update next time i wash the car. I'm not holding my breath, but who knows, maybe it will help... Also I will be sure to update this thread with durability updates, probably monthly, but if it starts to fail then more frequently.
thanks for looking!!!

Now to the pics and review!!! Im the MANMade with real carnauba wax and advanced fluoropolymer technology.
Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax cleans, protects, and shines with a combination of carnauba wax, silicone oils, and paint-defending flouropolymers. Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax is an all in one polish and wax blend that produces a deep, protective gloss in one step.
Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax keeps your vehicle looking like it just rolled off the showroom floor! The combination of carnauba wax, flouropolymers and silicone oils provides a slick shine that withstands the elements. Use Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax on paintwork, clear coats, fiberglass, GRP, carbon fiber, gel coats, chrome, metals, and plastics.
Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax preps and seals the surface at the same time. Mild polishing agents remove microscopic imperfections, fill minor scratches, and enhance the overall appearance of the paint. In just one step, your vehicle will look smoother and more vibrant!
The secret behind Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax's great protection is fluoropolymers. Fluropolymer Technology enables Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax to repel water and atmospheric pollutants. Your vehicle will be easier to wash and it will stay cleaner between washes. Every time you apply another layer of Wunder Shine, a fluoropolymer layer knits together to form a microscopic protective barrier.
Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax is easy to apply and buff off. It produces no chalky residue. For the best results, use a clean microfiber or foam applicator to wipe on Muc-Off Wunder Shine Liquid Wax. Use a soft, clean Cobra Microfiber Towel to remove the wax and buff to a brilliant shine.
