I've been a little bit far from this forum but i would like to share with you this restoration and detail history...
after my car was found from being stolen with paint scratches, broken roof, a hit on the front and a huuuuge list of damage i finally resurrected it after two years using my weekends, vacations, my own hands, friends hands and yes.. you!!! the folks here at autogeekonline and autogeek itself for sharing all this tremendous amounts of experience and kindness, yes! thank you all!!!
even when not finished, here you can see in the photos i took from the place of finding to a friend's wedding using phone cameras... it's getting better everyday!!! :xyxthumbs:
what i've used (in that order :dblthumb2
- Pinnacle Body Shampoo
- dirt grit
- DP extreme Foam used in three intensities from frugal (as seen on the photos) to real foam.
- Microfiber wash mitt
- the guzzler waffle weave microfiber towel
- Pinnacle Clay bar & lubricant
- Pinnacle Paint Cleanser
- Menzerna SIP :buffing:
- Klasse AIO
- Wolfgang Glaze Sealant 3.0
- Pinnacle Souveran
- DP All interior cleaner
- 303 cleaner and protectant
Equipment:
- Karcher Pressure Washer for the wheel wells
- Foamaster
- Metro Vac'n Blow
- Aztec Hot Rod
- Porter-Cable 4224
The las photo, the one at the wedding, was after heavy rain....
what i think i must do from now on...
- Polish with Menzerna SIP, Nano and then 85rd.
- Klasse AIO
- Klasse Sealant Glaze (2 or three layes)
- Layered Pinnacle Souveran (or Fuzion, what you think?? i have them both)
What do you think guys? what in you opinion should my next steps? opiinions, advices???
