My Black 2015 VW Jetta

I did a quick wash and wax on my black 2015 VW Jetta S. As you can tell it has a lot of swirls. Probably has something to do with using the car wash at the dealer I work for and having an unlimited wash club at my local "soft cloth" wash.:doh: I purchased Meguiar's swirl remover but after reading the forums I'm not sure if that was the best decision. Please leave any recommendations. Id really appreciate it! I'm kinda a noob at detailing. After washing with some cheap meguiars soap and drying with an absorber, I applied some cheap meguiars wax to the hood and roof with my new Porter Cable DA! :buffing: I didn't have enough time to finish it and the conditions weren't great so I finished off the car with some Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax.

I would recommend you stop using the dealer car wash and start using the 2bm for washes. This will help prevent adding swirls to the paint.

As for Meg's swirl remover being the right product or not, do a test spot. If you don't get the results you are looking for, then you can switch products and/or pads.
