Hey guys, maybe you can help me out here. My brother got me a gift cert for the store for my birthday so I figure a good usage would be to get some top of the line products to shine up his caddy. It is a 2010 CTS and he bought it used, low miles but must have been driven through countless car washes. Tons of swirls and scratches. I am not a professional detailer, more of an enthusiast. I have a pcxp and normally use Megs products. I was going to take the following steps: Wash, Clay, Ultimate Compound, Ult Polish, Ult Wax topped with Gold Glass Carnauba. I am not familiar with other products on here such as Pinnacle, Wolfgang, etc. I have the megs already and have used them with sucess in the past. However I want to get that perfect deep black look. I know proper procedure (again not a pro) so I am just looking for some input on the best products for black paint. Thanks in advance!

Hey AJD,

I moved your post out of my article on black paint is not a color it's a full time job...

"Black is not a color, it's a full time job"

If you want help, then you help yourself with your own thread and a "SUBJECT" that tells people what you want help with.

Tagging onto an existing thread about another topic won't tell people looking at the subject of the thread that you have a post buried in it asking for help with non related topics.

Make sense?

:dunno:
