My dewalt wheel speed is hard to steered.

Any quick fix? This thing gets on my nerves it gets stuck at times even if u used it a lot. I have handle other dewalt never had this problem.


I was thinking in spraying wd40 I don't know if is a good idea.

I would go with a dry lubricant like a teflon spray or graphite. Or just send it back to the manufacturer.:)
 
I bought my dewalt off Craigslist a year and half ago. Is that not a problem being the second owner?

Since we're not dealing with warranty, no it's not a problem. You'll have to check with your nearest repair center, but for me (on woodworking tools) they charged a nominal fee (I think $75) and replaced practically everything. They fully rebuilt it, didn't just fix the problem element.

I know a guys who does this kind of work. But I still dont understand what would they have to repair or change for a simple wheel. I dont think I need a rebuilt.
 
Then try out some teflon like Shaun suggested above. I wouldn't use graphite as it's electrically conductive.
